Atlantic Hotel Kiel

We had a wonderful family stay with our five kids at this hotel. The location was fantastic, just across from the main train station. The breakfast was also a highlight, with high-quality offerings including delicious pastries. It was a joy to visit the nearby Seebar on the Kiellinie promenade for fine views.

My kids wished there were more family-friendly activities available.

It was a very very good stay on a business trip. The location was best possible and comfortable, because the central station was based in front of the hotel. Set in 10 minutes' walk to downtown, and the staff were service-oriented...

Awesome breakfast with sweet dishes, yogurt and also great coffee, the staff is attentive and caring. Location is ideal and nice, near seaside. The bets part that it's really close to the centre of Kiel next to station and railway station, shopping centre and ferry.

The hotel staff were super nice and helpfull, especially the guy at reception who lent me adaptors. Room was really comfy and clean with nice decor. Breakfast was good too, had some tasty food and drinks. Great location near train station and shopping. Even got to see a bit of the harbor from my room.

Internet kept dropping, kinda annoying.

Our superior double room was equipped with free Wi-Fi and coffee. Our hotel was in the best possible location, in front of the central station...

Superb location, excellent rooms, very friendly staff, clean and quiet, and breakfast is a pure enjoyment.

Inconsistent Wi-Fi connectivity was a concern, cutting out frequently and disrupting my ability to get work done. The hotel offers a rooftop bar, but , there was an unfortunate ban on showing a major football match, which left me disappointed. While the restaurant served decent food, the limited menu lacked unique dishes that could showcase the local cuisine. Lastly, for English-speaking guests, the absence of any English channels on the TV was a letdown.

A bit high price for Kiel.

The hotel had only been open one week and so everything was very new and in perfect condition.

The service was very poor. Housekeeping were very poor, they did not clean my room properly or refresh the minibar. Room service took over 90 mins to deliver a glass of milk and only after a telephone call reminder!

Nice moments by the harbor

Waking up to the serene view of the harbor was refreshing. The staff at the Atlantic Hotel were extraordinarily friendly. The rooftop bar offers fine sunset views that are lovely.

Though the room was comfortable, I noticed a lack of English-speaking channels on the TV, disappointing. The breakfast seating could feel a bit cramped during busy hours.

I have faced no problem, I enjoyed the time while I was staying at the hotel.

May be elevators. Sometimes it takes time to catch an empty elevator.

Position is nice, in front of canal.

The room was immaculate with a lovely minibar and coffee machine. The breakfast was really good, offering a wide selection including made-to-order omelettes. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout my visit.

Wi-Fi was inconsistent.

Very high standard in all areas, excellent location in the middle of Kiel, good value for the money. Parking in parking deck close to the hotel. High recommendable for both business and leisure travels.
